Format
Individual folkstyle brackets in four youth birth-year divisions (2020-21, 2018-19, 2016-17, 2013-14) plus a 7th/8th-grade junior high division and a high school division. The companion girls event, Athena Nationals, runs the following day at the same venue.
Barbarian Nationals is a preseason individual folkstyle tournament at Harrison High School (Cincinnati area) run on FloArena, with youth brackets by birth year alongside junior high and high school divisions. The 2026 edition is November 7-8, 2026; the Athena Nationals girls tournament follows on November 8.
