Weigh-ins

Saturday Apr 3, 2027: early weigh-ins 10:00-11:00 AM (Hall B, Convention Center), regular weigh-ins 1:00-2:00 PM; all wrestlers weigh in wearing singlets; 3 lb allowance applied at weigh-in.

Format

Grades 6-8 individual brackets with full wrestle-backs; championship matches 1:30-1:30-1:30, consolation 1-1-1. Competition Sunday Apr 4 from 8:00 AM, run side-by-side with NHSCA High School Nationals (Apr 2-4, 2027). Weight classes: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 119, 127, 135, 142, 154, 165, 180, 230.

The middle-school division of the National High School Coaches Association's 38th annual High School Nationals in Virginia Beach. Middle school wrestlers (grades 6-8) weigh in Saturday and compete Sunday in the same arena as the high school event. Middle-school-only coaches need an NHSCA membership ($40) plus a Middle School Coaches Pass purchased on site.
