Weigh-ins
Saturday Dec 19, 6:00-8:00 PM (all divisions) and Sunday Dec 20, 7:00-8:00 AM (all divisions); Novice/Girls may also weigh in Sunday 11:00 AM-noon. Online registration only, no walk-ins; registration opens October 1 and closes December 18 at 9:00 AM. Sold out the past two years.
Format
Double elimination; wrestle-back for true second in the Open division only. Staggered start: Open first round 9:00 AM, Novice and Girls begin 1:15 PM. Weight classes vary by division (roughly 40-252 lbs).
The North Allegheny Young Guns is one of Western Pennsylvania's most competitive youth open tournaments, drawing regional clubs and school-based programs to North Allegheny Senior High School (10375 Perry Highway, Wexford). The 2026 edition combines the Open (6U-15U), Novice (6U-12U) and Girls tournaments on one day. Free admission. Run by the North Allegheny Tigers Junior Wrestling Association.
