Format
Divisions D1-D10 by birth year (D1 youngest through D9 ~14 years old; D10 is high-school age) plus girls divisions. 2026 schedule: Saturday D3-D6 morning session and D7-D9 afternoon session; Sunday D1-D2 morning and D10 plus all girls divisions all day. NYWAY also runs its qualifier-based State Championship and Girls State Championship the same weekend.
The New York Wrestling Association for Youth's open state championship at the Exposition Center on the NYS Fairgrounds (581 State Fair Blvd, Syracuse). The 2026 edition ran March 14-15, 2026 (Open on Saturday, State/Girls State on Sunday); the 2025 edition ran March 8-9. Brackets are run on Trackwrestling. Contact admin@nyway.org.
