Weigh-ins

Per the OAC state page: state weigh-in is scratch weight +2 lb; weigh-out (Divisions 3 & 4 only) is scratch +3 lb, held Saturday in the Community Room (Section 203) until 1 hour after the final match of the heaviest weight; multiple weigh-in attempts permitted; Divisions 1 and 2 have no weigh-outs.

OAC grade school Divisions 1-4 (age-based) bracketed by weight class; wrestlers qualify through OAC Grade School District tournaments (Jan 2027). Early-registration discount ($10) if registered within 7 days of the district tournament.

The Ohio Athletic Committee's Boys Grade School State Championships are the culminating youth folkstyle event of the OAC season, bringing district qualifiers from across Ohio to the Covelli Centre in Youngstown. The OAC has announced that the 2027 Grade School State moves to February 13-14, 2027 (from its traditional late-March slot), with the Toledo Divisional moved to December 20, 2026 as a result. Brackets run on Trackwrestling; tickets are sold through the venue.
