Per the 2026 girls state page: Friday evening 7:15-8:00 PM (Covelli Section 212) or Saturday 5:00-6:00 PM (Community Room); 2 lb allowance at weigh-in; no Sunday weigh-ins; OHWAY weights not honored.
Format
Girls-only brackets by birth-year division (Division II/III/IV) and weight class. Does NOT require qualification from a district; seeding uses prior-year placement, district standings and point-series results.
The OAC Girls Grade School State Championships give Ohio's elementary-age girls their own state bracket at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, run alongside the boys grade school state weekend. No district qualification is required. Female wrestlers may enter either the Girls or the Boys Grade School State, but not both on the same weekend.
