Per the 2026 page: Friday 7:15-8:00 PM (Covelli Section 212) or Saturday 5:00-6:00 PM (Community Room, Section 203); 2 lb allowance; no Sunday morning weigh-ins.
Format
Girls 7th-8th grade brackets at 16 weight classes. Does NOT require qualification from a district; seeds posted the week of the tournament, brackets released after weigh-ins.
The OAC Girls Junior High State Championships are Ohio's girls-only middle school state tournament, held on the Sunday of the OAC Junior High State weekend at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown. No district qualification is required. Female wrestlers may compete in either the Girls or the Boys Junior High State, but not both on the same weekend.
